Our latest paper illustrates how optoacoustic imaging can detect changes in the blood vasculature of the tumour in response to treatment with an anti-angiogenic therapy. The changes in total haemoglobin and oxygenation detected vessel regression and normalisation respectively. The paper was published in the Journal of Nuclear Medicine.
