In my project I use MultiSpectral Optoacoustic Tomography (MSOT) to measure blood oxygenation in the tumour in vivo. Both spatial and temporal changes in oxygenation can give us insight into the oxygen delivery and consumption by the cancer cells, which can be very valuable to monitor tumour development and response to treatment.
